  • What is Ravenna?
    • Ravenna is a private and approachable neighborhood and club, designed for couples and families seeking an individualized and personalized community, surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty and an understated elegance. Located just south of Chatfield Reservoir and nestled among the iconic red rocks of the Dakota Hogback, Waterton Canyon, the South Platte River, and one of the state’s top golf courses, Ravenna is a well-rounded community that feels like a retreat, but is minutes from life’s daily conveniences, entertainment experiences, and outdoor adventures.

  • Where is Ravenna located?
    • Ravenna is located in southwest metropolitan Denver, near Waterton Canyon. Pike National Forest is immediately west of the community. Ravenna is just under 30 minutes from downtown Denver and Cherry Creek North, 15 minutes from Park Meadows Mall and less than 20 minutes from the Denver Tech Center.

  • Who is Ravenna's Golf Course Architect?
    • Jay Morrish, voted Architect of the Year by Golf World Magazine in 1996 and a Colorado native chose Ravenna to be his final golf course design. His projects included the Boulders Golf Club, Forest Highlands, TPC of Scottsdale and Troon North-Monument Course in Arizona, Castle Pines Golf Club, and River Valley Ranch in Colorado and Las Colinas Sports Club in Texas. He had two private courses in 2007’s Golf Digest Top 100 private club designs: Double Eagle in Ohio and Loch Lomond in Scotland.

  • What facilities does the Club offer?
    • The facilities to be provided at The Club at Ravenna will include the following:

      • An eighteen-hole golf course designed by Jay Morrish.
      • Golf practice facilities including a practice range, putting green, and short game practice area.
      • La Bella Vita - our pool and state-of-the-art fitness center, locker rooms, sunset terrace, fire pit and outdoor entertainment area.
      • Villa Ravenna Clubhouse includes a dining facilities, a golf shop, men’s and women’s locker room facilities and golf club storage for members.
  • What improvements have been made to the course?
    • Aside from the improvements to the facilities, we have also made upgrades to the golf course itself. Most notably we have removed and reduced 46 bunkers, reduced the slope of several greens, added new tee boxes, improved native grass areas and several other upgrades to both improve course aesthetics and playability for all skill levels.

  • What dining options are included with membership?
    • Members receive access to our full complement of dining options including fine dining in the clubhouse, themed dinners, weekly live music, social events and on course dining at the Raphael Grille located on the 10th tee. Regular events include wine dinners and a weekly changing menu. Ravenna is a unique club in a unique location, and our variety of cuisine matches the expectations set everywhere else behind our gates.

  • Will my family members be welcomed at The Club?
    • Each membership in the Club is a family membership (except Corporate Limited Privilege Membership), which includes full privileges for spouses and unmarried children under the age of 26 who are living at home, attending school on a full-time basis, or serving in the military.

  • How is the membership deposit payable?
    • The required membership fee will be the amount charged on the date the applicant submits his/her Membership Agreement to the Club. The membership fee shall be due in full unless the applicant options a payment plan provided in a member’s Membership Agreement. The membership fee required by the Club shall change from time to time, and therefore, the membership fee required for a membership in the future may be increased as determined by the Club.

  • What are the procedures to apply for membership?
    • Applicants desiring a membership at The Club at Ravenna must comply with all of the following requirements:

      • Deliver a completed and signed Application for Membership Privileges, Membership Agreement and the applicable membership fee to the Club
      • Be sponsored by an existing member in good standing at The Club at Ravenna or a representative of the Club
      • Attend a personal interview, with The Club at Ravenna’s Membership Committee
      • Attend a mandatory Member Orientation
  • Do I have to be a resident to be a member?
    • No. Golf memberships are available to both residents and non-residents. Visit our Membership page for more information.

  • What kind of events and tournaments are there for members?
    • We host a variety of events for members including our men's and women's leagues and match play tournaments, junior events, the Hurly Burly, Bravado, Ravenna Cup and much more. Our events range from competitive matches to social and recreational outings.

  • What course access do members receive?
    • Members receive full course access and can play golf 6 days a week (closed on Mondays). We pride ourselves on giving members access to the course when they want it and getting them on and off the course on their own time. The limited traffic on the course - as well as our staff's dedication to details - also keeps the course in impeccable condition throughout the year.
