The Club at Ravenna is thrilled to welcome Sam Chapman as our new Membership Director!

We are excited to announce the addition of Membership Director Sam Chapman to The Club at Ravenna beginning today. Sam has a lifetime of professional experience in the golf industry, an exemplary skill set and a welcoming personality that will allow him to both engage the current Membership and acquire new Members for the Club.

Sam comes to us most recently from Blackstone Country Club and Black Bear Golf Club, where he has served as the Director of Golf for the past nine years. Sam's wealth of experience in membership recruitment, development, club planning and strategy, golf, food and beverage and leadership will complement our team and allow him to seamlessly integrate into his role.

Over his 30 years in the golf industry, Sam has done just about everything. After beginning his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Illinois, Sam has been General Manager, Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf across the country including Maple Bluff Country Club (Wisconsin), Westmoreland Country Club (Illinois), Bermuda Dunes Country Club (California), Blaketree National Golf Club (Texas), The Vintage Club (California) and Canongage at Lake Windcrest (Texas). He was also the 1983 Kansas 6A Golf State Champion and attended the University of Kansas on a full golf scholarship.

Sam currently makes his home in Parker and has two beautiful daughters - Grace (16) and Ella (14). He states that his commitment for his role is to be present, engaged, communicate and always have a mission to improve, develop and grow.
