We are looking forward to seeing you for a festive evening tomorrow at La Bella Vita for our Opening Soirée.
Colorado pools traditionally open Memorial Day Weekend, though with the excitement around our new pool we had scheduled to open a week early - this Saturday and Sunday. With consideration of the upcoming weather and precipitation, we are choosing to open in full on Friday, May 24th to kick off Memorial Weekend. We want to make a big "splash" with our opening and with temperatures mostly in the 50s, clouds and chances of storms throughout the weekend we are choosing to start in festive fashion during the holiday weekend.
The pool is ready, the menus and kitchen is raring to go and we will keep putting on the finishing touches throughout the upcoming week for an exciting summer ahead at Ravenna. Next weekend's forecast calls for sun and temperatures in the 70s and our Memorial Day BBQ at La Bella Vita on Monday.

Our grand opening event for the pool at La Bella Vita will be held next week, and it's an exciting time to be a member at The Club at Ravenna as we continue to add to our facilities and amenities. Please find below find a brief summary of hours, rules and information regarding the pool and the upcoming months. You can download a full copy of Pool Rules and Information here. Special events will be held at the pool throughout the summer to celebrate and enjoy this wonderful facility. You will be receiving notifications as these events are set and developed.
Opening Weekend
The Opening Soirée will be held Friday evening, May 17th from 6pm - 10pm. This special evening will feature a special menu from Chef and live music from The Hues as we celebrate a historic night for Ravenna. Learn more, see the menu and RSVP for the Opening Soirée here. The restaurant at the clubhouse will be closed at 5 pm on May 17th for this opening event.
Hours
The normal operating hours will be Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm, beginning on May 24th for the summer season. On holidays, such as Memorial Day, the pool will be open and will have some activities scheduled for the day of celebration. Special events will be held at the pool throughout the summer to celebrate and enjoy this wonderful facility and you will receive updates on these throughout the season.
Dining
The kitchen at La Bella Vita, Bella Cucina, will have the same operating hours as the pool and will also be open for dinner on Thursdays from 5 pm to 9 pm. On Thursdays when Bella Cucina is open for dinner, the restaurant at the Clubhouse will close at 5 pm. The first Thursday dining event at La Bella Vita will be May 23.
Chef David Lazarus will be developing special menus for the dinner service at La Bella Vita. From 11-2 pm The La Bella Vita menu concept will feature several new items emphasizing healthier alternatives for lunch such as Organic Kale & Quinoa, Florentine Salad, Seasonal Fruit Mélange, Black Bean Veggie Burgers and Mediterranean Vegetable Wraps. Of course, standard club favorites such as Caesar Salad, Italian Country Salad and Burgers will be featured as well. Kids menu offerings will include new items such as Cheese Quesadillas and Hamburger or Cheeseburger sliders. From 2-5pm an afternoon menu will be offered featuring appetizers, small plates and salads such as Caprese, Antipasto, Sliders, Chicken Wings, Brie Grilled Cheese, Grilled Pesto Shrimp Cocktail, Goat Cheese Quesadillas and Seared Ahi Salad.
We will also have two special dining events in June. Friday, June 7th will be a Seafood Night by the pool and Friday, June 21st will be a Summer Solstice social. Special menus will be announced soon and the clubhouse will be closed on those nights.
Check In and General Rules
All members and their guests must use the front entrance of the Pool and Fitness Facility and check in before using any of the facilities. Guests must be accompanied by members at check in to have access to the facilities. Please see guest policies for guest fees. All food and beverage consumed on property must be purchased through the club. Coolers and thermos are not permitted on property. Children 11 & under are not permitted in the Pool and Fitness Center without an adult (18 & Over) and the Adult/Guardian must be in the same building as the child/children.
Pool Monitors & Swim Lessons
Pool monitors are certified lifeguards and will be on site during all hours of operation to assist in pool safety, cleanliness, towel service and swim lessons. A swimming lesson program will begin in June. Lessons will be taught in half hour time frames, either at 10 am or 10:30 am. Private lessons can be scheduled with our pool staff, and will be set when the lessons activity does not impact the pool use of the membership.
Cabanas
Seven cabanas will be available for members to reserve for a daily or half day rate beginning in June. Cabanas, with a maximum occupancy of 8 people, can be reserved for a full day or half-day (either 11am-2pm or 2pm to close). See the full rules and information for rates and details. Instructions on cabana reservations will be communicated in the coming weeks.
