It’s hard to believe that summer is over and fall is upon us. This weekend is our last member event of the year with the men’s Ravenna Cup. It has been a good year at the Club and we appreciate member participation this past summer. As the sun goes behind the mountains earlier and reduces the daylight hours available to play golf we are transitioning into the fall golf season. We reduce our staff levels for the fall season with the Club being closed for golf and dining on Mondays and Tuesdays from now thru April 2020. But the cooler temperatures, fall colors and great conditions still provide some of the best golf of the year to be played over the coming weeks.

The first tee time in October will be 9:00 am because of the morning frost and the range will be open from 8:30am to 5:00 pm daily. In October the Raphael Grille will be open weekends only (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) from 10:30-5:00 pm weather permitting and the last day it will be open is Sunday, October 27th. Continental breakfast available in October Wednesday thru Saturday and on Sunday’s we serve full breakfast/lunch until 2:00 pm and/or will have food service for the membership until the last golfer comes off the golf course. If the weather does not cooperate and we don’t have any golfers on the golf course, the Club will close Sundays at 2:00pm after brunch/lunch service.

With the reduced staffing we kindly ask for the membership’s assistance to please make dining reservations and, when playing golf, please call ahead and place your food and beverage orders so we can have them prepared when you arrive. This helps us to provide the best and most efficient service possible to all of our members and guests.

New this fall, the Club will be providing light complimentary appetizers each Friday from 4:30-6:30 in October and November.

Chef David has some fantastic dining nights scheduled for October and November. Look for menus, more details and RSVP as each date gets closer.

The last day the pool will open for swimming is this Sunday, September 29th. The Club will put away and store the pool furniture and cover the main swimming pool and hot tub.

November 15th is the last day to post official scores. On November 16th the Club will cut two holes on every green, will remove the tee markers and rakes and will not recognize hole in ones for the Hole in One Club. Steve will be blowing out the irrigation system and winter cart path only rule will be in effect starting December 4th until the spring 2020.
