It's been a long journey. Over the last few years, we completed the Raphael Grille and La Bella Vita, but now the crowning glory of our building program, "Villa Ravenna," is complete.

Villa Ravenna fulfills our vision as a smaller boutique club where we provide an elegant casual experience for residents, members, and guests to escape the world in our secluded community.

Our newest members have anticipated this opening for a few months, and some loyal members have waited 15 years. Whatever the wait, we extend our sincere thanks for your patience, support, and loyalty. We couldn't have done it without you!

As you know, throughout the construction, we've battled COVID, materials scarcities, late deliveries, a skilled labor shortage, and lately, inflation. Along the way, we've informed you of the project's ups and downs, which will soon be part of the past.

On July 1, at 5:30 p.m., we will gather in the auto court for passed hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The doors will open around 6:15 for members with heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Our staff will be stationed throughout the clubhouse to answer questions regarding their specific areas. The Grand Opening is an adult-only event restricted to the primary/principled member plus one. 



Transition & Operational Matters 

As we transition to the new clubhouse, there will be significant changes to our food and beverage services beginning next Tuesday and extending into July as we move into the new building.

Week of June 19: Beginning Tuesday, June 21, and for the rest of the week, there will be limited food service in the tent with a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning and dry snacks in the afternoon. One bartender will be on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Lunch will be available at La Bella Vita.

Week of June 26: On June 27, the tent closes permanently. Lunch and beverages will be available at La Bella Vita Tuesday through Friday.

Friday, July 1: – La Bella Vita closes at 2:00 p.m in preparation for the opening.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, July 2-3: – In the new clubhouse: Breakfast burritos in the Men’s Lounge 7:00 – 10:00 am; in the main dining room: Lunch Buffet 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Grab & Go snacks 2:00 -4:00 pm, Appetizer Buffet 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

MONDAY, July 4: – Fourth of July Bash at the Pool 11:00- 6:00 pm with a buffet from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. One bartender on duty in the new clubhouse 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m with dry snacks.

We will gradually increase service levels for the rest of July as our team members become familiar with new procedures and equipment.

New Stories to be Told

We're approaching the end of a challenging and sometimes treacherous trail leading to an actual clubhouse -- one that equals or exceeds Ravenna's other attributes. For years, the Ravenna story was about the golf club -- without a clubhouse. That story has a happy ending, with Ravenna's transformation into a truly great club – one of the best in America.

New stories will be born from the events held and friendships found in the casually elegant surroundings of Villa Ravenna. Speaking for myself and the entire Ravenna team, we look forward to creating and sharing those stories with you in the years ahead.
