Each of the last five summers, The Club at Ravenna has been honored and privileged to host the Ravenna Invitational supporting the Infinite Hero Foundation. This year’s weeklong series of events provided inspiration, encouragement and stories from some of our country’s finest heroes. Most importantly, through the support of all of our sponsors, guests, volunteers and donors, we raised $700,000 in contributions and gifts in kind for the foundation! These dollars will help to fund programs that make real, tangible differences in the lives of these heroes and their families. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for your generosity!
Beginning Thursday, July 19 with a Brain Health Discussion at Breckenridge Brewery and running through Monday, July 22 with the Ravenna Invitational golf tournament, hundreds of you attended this year’s Infinite Hero week filled with special events, productive discussions and ultimately hundreds of thousands of dollars raised in support of those who have so selflessly sacrificed for our country. Special guests included Medal of Honor recipients Sammy L. Davis and Sal Giunta, 40th Sergeant at Arms of the United State Senate Frank Larkin, Dr. Ann McKee, Dr. Jim Kelly, veterans Alex Oliver, Morgan Luttrell, Jason Redman, Mary Dague, Gary Linfoot, Neil Duncan, Jack Stottlemire, Jennifer Burch, Tim Johannsen, Latseen Benson and many more. Live music was provided for Sunday’s “Evening of Stories” gala by recording artists Keith Harkin, Nashville duo New North and Eagles songwriter Jack Tempchin.
We had over 40 generous sponsors of the event including Sterling Custom Homes, Oakley, Deloitte, 3Bear Energy, Pella Windows, the Bailey family, Liberty Oil, Builders First Source, Don Schumacher Racing, The Club at Ravenna and more. We truly could not have done it without these sponsors and our amazing group of volunteers.
