Welcome Executive Chef David Lazarus
David Lazarus joins the Club at Ravenna as Executive Chef.

Members,

We are thrilled to announce the addition of the highly esteemed Executive Chef David Lazarus to The Club at Ravenna. David begins tomorrow and brings with him a wealth of experience, knowledge, accolades and excitement to our Club. Our current culinary experience required new direction. He brings to Ravenna a unique skill set in terms of service and a hands on management style that more closely follows our boutique club brand.

David comes to us most recently from Denver Country Club (DCC), where he has been since 2009. At DCC, he led all aspects of the culinary operation for a membership of over 800 members. Prior to that, he opened the Castle Pines Golf Club where he created, developed and managed all culinary operations from 1983 - 2007. His tenure included all clubhouse, player, sponsor, cottage, banquet, special event and on course catering for the Club including the PGA Tour's "The International" tournament for 21 years. David excels in regional cuisine, French menus, Italian fare, has an excellent seafood background and more. We look forward to the creative options David will introduce into our culture.

In all, David's nearly 35 years of award-winning private club dining experience is unmatched in Colorado and a huge asset for our Club and Membership going forward. He is classically trained and emphasizes the utilization of local and organic products along with premiere suppliers from across the nation to create inspired menus ranging from casual fare to the most excellent fine dining cuisine. Along with the upcoming opening of La Bella Vita, the addition of David's unique and creative skill set brings forth the most exciting time in Ravenna's existence as we continue to strive forward with only the highest of standards behind our gates.

When he is not in the kitchen, David enjoys time with his wife over a nice meal and bottle of wine.

We know that you will love David's execution and imagination in the kitchen and you'll be proud of the quality and selections from his menus. As you dine in the clubhouse in the coming days and weeks David will come out, as much as possible, to meet you and all of our Members. Please help us in welcoming him and his family to Ravenna.
